A weekend retreat at Dove Hospice, Glendowie, Auckland.

When someone we love dies, our lives change forever. Life as we have known it, feelings and emotions as we have known them become strange and unfamiliar to us. We are often expected to ‘get over’ the death of a loved one, sooner rather than later.

Many of us grieve alone. Sometimes we find it hard to express how we really feel with family and friends, to find the space and freedom to grieve in our own way and in our own time and transition to a new way of living with our loss.

In a safe and supportive environment, you are invited to come together with others who are bereaved, to nurture mind, body and spirit. There will be harp music, poetry and reflections, storytelling, art and craft, aromatherapy for well-being, quiet times, blessings, smiles and good food to enjoy. This is an opportunity for you to rest, relax, refresh, tend your grief, be encouraged and strengthened.

Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July 2019 from 9.30am – 4pm each day.

Previous participants say…
