Retreats and Gatherings
Saturday October 10th 2020
10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Glenside Seaview Lodge, 90 Church Road, Seacliff, New Zealand
When someone we love dies, our lives change forever. We can find it hard to express how we really feel with family and friends, to find the space and freedom to grieve in our own way, in our own time and transition to a different way of living with our loss.
In a safe and supportive environment, you are invited to come together with others who are bereaved to enhance your well-being and nurture your mind, body and spirit through film, poetry, music, stories, blessings and smiles.
There will also be the opportunity to learn more about how you can companion and support others who are grieving.
“Nurturing, gentle, overall a positive experience. The energy was held well and a sense of being very respectful and caring.”
“Helped me understand what I’m going through is okay…”
“Loved the spaciousness, gentleness…appreciated permission to do what we needed for ourselves.”
This day workshop is being sponsored by Riverton Union Church. Please bring your own packed lunch. Tea, coffee and home-baking will be provided.
